Embark on an 5-Day Bobcat/Coyote Combo Hunt Adventure in Idaho

Come and hunt bobcats for 5 days with us! We recently have added in coyote calling 1-2 evenings for free during your bobcat hunt. This adds to the experience of fun, as well as helps our local ranchers keep predators down. Winter months are the best time to hunt coyotes as you will find them traveling more during the daytime as the temperatures drop, and hear them more during mating season January-March.

Bobcats have incredible markings that make them unique. They are very secretive and incredible animals. Where the season runs much shorter than the mountain lion season. To hunt bobcats in Idaho, all you have to have is a valid hunting license, no tag required. Once you kill a bobcat you have to present the pelt to a regional Fish and Game office.

We offer a fully guided bobcat hunt with the hounds. This is a favorable hunt for houndsmen, as they give a good race. These wild cats are incredibly beautiful and smart. They are similar to hunting cougar, once your guide finds a track, they let the dogs trail until treed.

What to Expect

We ask for a $1000 non-refundable deposit to secure your spot. We ask for this to protect you and us. In case someone decides to cancel days before the hunt, where we turned others down for that spot, as well as covering part of the basic fees and wages.

For almost all of our hunts you will be staying in facilities with power, water, and beds. You will have home cooked meals, and often produce from our onsite garden. Often enjoying jellies, fruits, and veggies, homemade pies and other desserts. Joey and Rose live on sight and are involved in all hunts year round, either cooking, guiding or maintaining. 

Sometimes the weather isn't on our side, and we have no control over fires, snow, rain, or sickness, but we will try and make every moment count. Some days are longer days than others, but worth every moment. We will be honest with the amount of game harvested, and your success rates. In these parts of Idaho, you can expect a lot of timber, and some open land. Steep mountains, but there are roads in 8A and 10A, where we usually can get within a closer range.

After you harvest your animal, we go back to camp, write needed information down, and you can drive down to the nearest check in station. If you don't have a taxidermist at home that you use, we have excellent recommendations for you.
