Back 30 Outfitters was started by Joey and Rose Dotson in 2021, fueled by their passion for the outdoors. Both grew up in hunting families. Joey's family has been hound hunting for generations, and he grew up with hounds, eventually getting his own pack for hunting bears, bobcats, and cougars. He also loves elk and deer hunting and enjoys any opportunity to be in the woods.



Joey spent many years working for other outfitting businesses in Idaho, gaining experience by spending over nine months a year in the field. When Joey and Rose started their own family, they decided to create their own outfitting business in 2021. Back 30 Outfitters is a family-owned business driven by their love for adventure and the thrill of hunting. They take pride in helping clients experience unforgettable outdoor adventures and making lasting memories.
